I have always held a keen interest in textures and have enjoyed exploring diverse materials. I have chosen to focus on working with abandoned and recycled clothing. This process includes dismantling and dissecting fabrics, using them as the foundation for constructing artworks. One notable series, titled the "Ugly Bag" series, involved transforming discarded trousers into purposeful bags.
Additionally, I have sourced fabrics from old furniture, repurposing them to create frames that shows my nostalgia for previous apartments. This process has allowed me to delve deeply into various materials and textures, manipulating them into different formats and repurposing them for varying intents. By integrating recycled elements into my work, I have been able to operate with a sense of sustainability, prompting thoughtful reflection on our relationship with the environment and the objects we use.
