<The Uncanny> Exhibition Poster

Commissioned by Ian Ha, a New York-based artist, for his first exhibition at Rabbit and Tiger Gallery, I designed the main posters and postcards. Ian Ha's artworks includes portraying commonplace subjects like everyday objects, insects, plants, and landscapes as unfamiliar entities. Using collage techniques, he integrates them into a painterly context, occasionally juxtaposing prints both within and outside the painting, thereby conveying a surfaces in a multi-layered and multi-dimensional manner. These methods resonate with my design approach, which involves using various techniques such as collage and incorporating scanned textures and images.
